Because of the mature nature of our intended audience, we don't see the need for a large number of rules for our players; however, we do expect that those rules which we do have are followed.
Khalidine requires that in order to advance a character beyond third level, a character background must be submitted and approved. A web-based form for doing this will be provided. Though character backgrounds can be widely varied, each PC will be starting with the same basics -- some coin, the things they carry, and their wits (or lack thereof).
Each character represents a significant time investment on the part of the DMs, as well as the time you spend developing that character's history. In addition, each character can have a very real impact on the world around them. In order to keep both to manageable levels, Khalidine has limit of three approved character limit per player, including those from multiple NWN user ids. You may have any number of unapproved characters. Unapproved characters cannot progress past level three.
In many ways, DMs are under more restrictions than players; this is to ensure balanced and enjoyable gameplay for all involved. The rules below reflect this.
